delegate-router
by pvjbuilds
delegate-router is a skill for Claude Code and Codex CLI that passes bulky, already-decided coding jobs to another AI model you already subscribe to. It is meant to save tokens and quota, while the main agent checks every change before it is accepted.

What you can do with it
- Hand boilerplate, test stubs or repetitive multi-file edits to a cheaper or more suitable model
- Send media, PDFs or long documents to Gemini for reading while your main agent keeps working
- Get alerts when new models appear in your installed CLIs and check that they respond
Make money with it
A freelance developer could finish more client coding work within existing subscriptions, which means taking on more projects without extra AI costs.
An idea, not financial advice. Check the licence before charging for anything built on it.
Ways a business could use it
- A freelance developer can move routine coding work to whichever model subscription has spare quota, which helps avoid hitting usage limits.
- A small software team can use a second model to review code that the main agent wrote, which can catch mistakes before delivery.
Can you use it commercially?
Free to use, change and sell, including in paid products. Keep the copyright notice.
Not legal advice. Read the project's licence file before building a product on it.
Getting it running
Clone the repository to a fixed folder with git, then run the install.sh script. You need macOS or Linux, Python 3.9 or later, and at least two of the Claude Code, Codex and Antigravity CLIs.
Follow the official instructions in the project README.
Things to check
- Needs separate subscriptions or API access for each CLI it uses
- Supports only macOS and Linux, and only Claude Code or Codex CLI as the main agent
- The optional Jev feature sends text to a third-party service, so it should not be used on client or sensitive code
- Small project with few stars, and the model names and benchmarks in the routing map will date quickly
