What you can do with it
- Ask the assistant to complete tasks using built-in tools such as search, productivity and system utilities
- Let it operate desktop and browser interfaces through its computer-use feature
- Add your own skills and toolkits to extend what it can do
Make money with it
A freelancer could set up and customise private assistants with bespoke skills for small businesses as a paid service.
An idea, not financial advice. Check the licence before charging for anything built on it.
Ways a business could use it
- Automate routine desktop and browser tasks such as searching, note keeping and file handling to save staff time
- Run a private assistant on local models so client information is not sent to third-party services
Can you use it commercially?
Free to use, change and sell, including in paid products. Keep the copyright notice.
Not legal advice. Read the project's licence file before building a product on it.

Things to check
- The 2.0 version is a Developer Preview and still changing
- New documentation is not ready and the public docs mostly describe the older version
- Remote AI providers may need paid API keys
- Computer-use features can act on your machine, so need careful supervision
