What you can do with it
- View screenshots, design concepts and charts side by side in the Claude Code chat
- Play Playwright test recordings with clickable timestamps and checks that turn green or red
- Compare before and after videos of a bug fix or feature, played side by side in sync
Make money with it
A freelancer building websites with Claude Code could use before and after recordings to show clients clear proof of each change.
An idea, not financial advice. Check the licence before charging for anything built on it.
Ways a business could use it
- Check visually that an AI-made website or app fix works before shipping it, which cuts back-and-forth with clients
- Compare several design directions for a landing page quickly in one place, which speeds up freelance design and build work
Can you use it commercially?
Free to use, change and sell, including in paid products. Keep the copyright notice.
Not legal advice. Read the project's licence file before building a product on it.
Getting it running
Install it with two slash commands inside Claude Code (add the plugin marketplace, then install the plugin), and add ffmpeg if you want video support.
Follow the official instructions in the project README.
Things to check
- Needs Claude Code, which requires a paid Anthropic account or API access
- Only works in Ghostty and kitty terminals; Warp, WezTerm and Konsole cannot show pictures
- The description mentions Windows support, but the README lists only macOS and Linux
- Videos need ffmpeg installed separately
- Updates itself automatically
