What you can do with it

  • See credit balances and spend for AI and cloud providers on a single page
  • Force an immediate refresh of one provider or all of them
  • Protect the dashboard or its settings with a single-user password

Make money with it

A freelancer could set it up for clients as a cost-monitoring service, charging a fee to connect and host their provider dashboards.

An idea, not financial advice. Check the licence before charging for anything built on it.

Ways a business could use it

  • Track prepaid AI credits across providers so a service does not stop when a balance runs out
  • Spot unexpected cloud and AI spend early to keep monthly costs under control

Can you use it commercially?

Free to use. Anything you distribute that includes it must be open-sourced under the same licence.

Not legal advice. Read the project's licence file before building a product on it.

Getting it running

Run it locally with Python (uv) and Node (pnpm), build the included Dockerfile, or deploy it to Railway as two services, then add your provider credentials.

Follow the official instructions in the project README.

Things to check

  • Several providers (Anthropic, Mistral, Groq, CivitAI, Perplexity) need session cookies, which may break without notice and may go against their terms
  • Stores sensitive API keys and tokens in SQLite on your server, so it needs securing
  • Some balances are best-effort or not available (for example Gemini shows key validity only)
  • GPL-3.0 licence, which has conditions if you redistribute modified versions
  • The iOS app is separate, closed source and does not connect to this backend

Who's talking about it
