by browser-use
video-use is a skill for coding agents such as Claude Code that edits raw video footage into a finished video from a chat conversation. It cuts filler words, colour grades, adds subtitles and animation overlays, and produces a final MP4 file.

What you can do with it
- Drop raw takes into a folder and ask the agent to edit them into a launch video
- Remove filler words, false starts and dead space, with short audio fades at every cut
- Add colour grading, burned-in subtitles and animated overlays to the finished video
Make money with it
A freelancer could offer low-cost video editing for podcasters, coaches or small brands, using the tool to produce cut, subtitled videos quickly.
An idea, not financial advice. Check the licence before charging for anything built on it.
Ways a business could use it
- Turn raw talking-head, tutorial or product footage into polished marketing videos without paying for an editor
- Offer faster video turnaround for clients by letting an agent handle rough cuts, subtitles and colour grading
Can you use it commercially?
Free to use, change and sell, including in paid products. Keep the copyright notice.
Not legal advice. Read the project's licence file before building a product on it.
Getting it running
Clone the repository, link it into your agent's skills folder, install dependencies with uv or pip, install ffmpeg, and add an ElevenLabs API key; the agent can do most of this for you.
Follow the official instructions in the project README.
Things to check
- Needs a paid ElevenLabs API key for transcription
- Needs a coding agent such as Claude Code, which may have its own costs
- Sends audio to a third-party service for transcription
