Getting it running

Install it as a plugin from the GitHub marketplace inside Claude Code or Claude Desktop, or add it to other agents with an npx skills command; local mode also needs ffmpeg and yt-dlp.

  • Does not work in Claude Chat or Cowork, only in Code sessions and compatible agent tools
  • The fastest route needs a Google Gemini API key, and local files are uploaded to Google
  • Transcribing videos without captions may need a Groq or OpenAI key, or a local WhisperX install
  • Downloading videos may breach some platforms' terms of service
