by AbhishekBarali
SpeakoFlow is a free desktop app that types what you say into any program, and also lets you ask an AI assistant questions by voice. It also records meetings and writes up notes, and it can run speech recognition on your own computer.

Make money with it
A freelancer could use it to turn out written work, such as drafts, transcripts or meeting notes, faster and take on more client jobs.
An idea, not financial advice. Check the licence before charging for anything built on it.
Ways a business could use it
- Speed up writing emails, proposals and client replies by dictating instead of typing, without paying a monthly dictation subscription
- Record client calls and produce meeting notes and action items without a paid note-taking service
Can you use it commercially?
Free to use, change and sell, including in paid products. Keep the copyright notice.
Not legal advice. Read the project's licence file before building a product on it.
Getting it running
Download the installer for Windows, macOS or Linux from the GitHub releases page, then pick a speech model in the app.
Follow the official instructions in the project README.
Things to check
- Cloud speech, voice and web search options need your own paid API keys
- Meeting recording is in beta
- On macOS, recording the other side of a call needs a virtual audio device such as BlackHole
- Local models work best with a decent graphics card or processor, and the AI cleanup model is currently English only
- Recording meetings may need consent from the other people on the call
