by Manan-Santoki
OpenShelf is a free Mac menu-bar app that lets you start dragging a file, tap a key, and drop it on a wheel of actions. It converts, edits, shelves or AirDrops files without opening another app, and works offline.

Getting it running
Download the DMG from the latest GitHub release and drag OpenShelf into Applications, then allow it once in macOS Privacy & Security because it is not notarised.
Follow the official instructions in the project README.
Things to check
- Mac only (macOS 14 or later)
- Not notarised by Apple, so first launch needs a manual override
